Cut the Rope Daily is a free puzzle game that relies on physics—and a tiny bit of luck—in order for players to solve each unique level. This game is yet another installment in the pretty extensive franchise of the Cut The Rope game series, however, this time levels are locked per day.

The overall gameplay and mechanics of Cut the Rope Daily are exactly the same as the original iteration, so you’ll have no trouble picking it up again. Take note, though, that while the game is free to download, you’ll need to have a Netflix account to actually play the game.

With a familiar premise and adorable graphics, Cut the Rope Daily presents an entertaining game that is suitable for all ages. For players who have played the other iterations of this game, you won’t have to worry about figuring out any unfamiliar mechanisms. New players don’t have to worry, though, since you’ll still be able to access a five-level tutorial.

While it may seem easy at first, collecting all 10 stars on each level can actually be much more challenging than you think. That’s why players are granted access to five practice levels that they can try out at any time. Best of all, you can restart and retry all levels an unlimited number of times. However, there are no hints available so you have to figure each problem out on your own.

Once you’ve collected enough stars, you’ll also be able to unlock special outfits to dress the adorable monster, Om Nom, up with. Players can also see how their performance compares to other players on the home page. As already mentioned, however, levels will be unlocked one by one each day. While you can replay the previous days’ levels, you can easily run out of content to play too quickly. 

Cute but challenging

While the availability of content can be too slow for more advanced players, Cut the Rope Daily is still worth checking out. The inclusion of tutorial and practice levels ensures a smooth learning curve, although the challenge of collecting all stars adds depth. Although you can’t get any hints on particularly difficult levels, you can try as many times as you need in order to collect as many stars as you can.
